Cookies are used by Statistics Lithuania in order to ensure easy use of websites administered by Statistics Lithuania and to increase their functionality and efficiency.
Cookie is a small data file that is stored on the user’s computer or other terminal equipment when s/he visits the website of the service provider. A cookie contains information about the website visited. During the next visit to the same website, the information contained in the cookie is automatically analysed and adapted to the needs of the service provider and the user. Permanent cookies expire on accurate predefined date or are deleted by the user.
